The model school initiative will support teachers and inspire students to explore Jewish heritage, history and its influence on Moldovan society, through the Jewish cemetery in Moldova’s capital. Creative methods will be applied, so that the students of the Theater Lyceum will be able to explore the topics according to their own interest. Activities planned as part of the project include two visits to the Jewish Chisinau cemetery, the development of three podcast episodes or films on different topics along a model of “50 Questions”, a reflective essay contest, which will be followed by a public speaking contest. A public event will then showcase the results developed by the students and their teachers.
