Jana Turanska holds an MA in History and Jewish studies from Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech republic. She has experience from various academic institutions including Central European University, Paideia - The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Stockholm or The Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She has been working on international projects focused on preservation of the Jewish archival heritage in Jewish Museum Prague. She is also involved in the formal and informal youth education in Slovakia and Czech republic. Currently she is working with Centropa while pursuing her PhD. in the Jewish history with the focus on modern Central European Jewish History. In this project she is project coordinator and line manager for Slovakia from Centropa's side.
